Skate skiied a "short" Wolverine on Wendesday -- waited until the moment things were above -10. Not horrible, but still more work; the trails are scratched up and in good shape.
Skate skiing over the last week on Wolverine has been more work, but still doable; not been unbearably slow. Unless it's my imagination, the surface has been regularly scratched up by the groomers. Many thanks to whoever takes care of Tsalteshi -- I've skiied all around the Peninsula over the holidays, and no one, but no one, takes care of their trails like they do here.
Skate skied Woverine Thursday evening. I haven't been on those trails in a week or so -- but they seemed to be on fairly good condition. A little icy, but still enough broken up top layer to get a decent purchase. Groomed earlier today? Very, very, fast with violet wax.
