Todays ski clinic was a lot of fun for the brave souls who faced the blizzard to participate. If you did not know Robert Johnson he worked at Beemun’s for years helping so many of us get started in skiing. Brent Knight and Zach Hall came down from Anchorage to lead the instruction for the event. Both of these guys are amongst the nation’s best skiers and grew up locally. Besides being great skiers they are great guys who volunteered their time to give back to their community. Beemun’s provided free ski rentals with helpful staff and Kaladi Brother’s provided hot drinks. Brent and Zach also brought some free swag from their race sponsors (Atomic and Powerbar). All proceeds went to TTA’s Youth Ski Program.
There were skiers of all ages that we hope to see out skiing the rest of the winter. We look forward to even more participation next year!
