Cold but workable…

Skate skiing over the last week on Wolverine has been more work, but still doable; not been unbearably slow. Unless it's my imagination, the surface has been regularly scratched up by the groomers. Many thanks to whoever takes care of Tsalteshi -- I've skiied all around the Peninsula over the holidays, and no one, but no one, takes care of their trails like they do here.

Annual Membership Meeting

Tsalteshi Trails Association will have its annual membership meeting on Wednesday, January 11 at 7pm at the Emergency Operations Center, 253 Wilson Lane, Soldotna.  There will be a short presentation about our activities in the past year.  We will also elect 3 new board members.  If you are interested in serving on the board, contact us at tsalteshi@yahoo.com.  To serve as a board member or vote in the election you must be a current TTA member. Trail report 12-15

General, Tsalteshi Ski Trails, Uncategorized
Classic skied all of the trails today and the skiing was very good.  Tracks were set and in good shape.  Also got to classic the Squirrel for the first time with tracks so that was fun.  I used bright red Toko kicker which was really good.  After a while I skied thru to yesterday's extra blue which had good grip but ran slower.  They were setting up a high school race so the upper trail head could be a little busy till 5 pm or so.
