Mountain biked from Cooper Landing to Fox Creek Cabin and back. Trail and great shape although rain on the way home may have it muddy for a few days.
Ran from Cooper Landing to Trout Lake Cabin and back. Trail in great shape. The new trout lake cabin is two stories.
Mountain biked from Primrose to Seward via Lost Lake Trail and back via Historic Iditarod Trail from Bear Creek. Hardest ride, very technical, with some very steep sections. Trail in great shape although Iditarod trail softer and less well defined.
The lumpy places on all trails have been dragged smooth. You can tighten up your suspension.
Wolf, Moose, Rabbit, Raven, Weasel and Coyote were graded today.
The trails less goopy than usual for this time of the year and the conditions get better every day. The Wolverine, Goat, Coyote and Bear are all bike-able if you pay attention for soft spots. All other trails are walk/run-able with a few spots to stay on sides. The Wolf and Moose are the goopiest and it is still possible to make it all the way around without getting mud on the top of your shoes.
The Wolverine is bike-able now. Just a couple places to stay to the side. Goat and Coyote are very close.
The forecast of more snow fizzled. There is not enough new snow to re-set classic tracks, but, the skiing is still very good.
