Skate skied Wolverine and Goat in the afternoon. Freshly groomed trails (no classic tracks yet), violet wax and fairly fast. All good.

Skied the wolf a few times Tuesday night after the groom.  Fast with decent grip.  Beware of ice patch at the bottom of first climb next to sledding hill.  Stay on the groom.

Skate skied Wolverine today -- just barley enough crust to make that possible. Very fast. (violet wax)

The outer loops have some small debris here and there from the last of the many winds but the skiing is fair.  It beats staring at a computer screen!

 Trails are great for so early in the season.  I am already sore!

Tracks up the Yin, Tracks down the Yang, Winding out of sight. Sweat Equity!

Classic skied everything!  Really great to have tracks this early in the year.  The tracks but thru to the dirt ocassionally, but for the most part are good.  Jump out and back in as if you are passing someone!  Also, the snow is eay to wax for right now.  Just read the temperatures on the can.

The lumpy places on all trails have been dragged smooth. You can tighten up your suspension.

Wolf, Moose, Rabbit, Raven, Weasel and Coyote were graded today.

The trails less goopy than usual for this time of the year and the conditions get better every day. The Wolverine, Goat, Coyote and Bear are all bike-able if you pay attention for soft spots. All other trails are walk/run-able with a few spots to stay on sides. The Wolf and Moose are the goopiest and it is still possible to make it all the way around without getting mud on the top of your shoes.
